Our Support for Singapore’s Migrant Workforce

This commitment was highlighted by our participation in the Migrant Workers’ Assistance Fund (MWAF) Charity Golf and Fundraising Dinner 2024, marking the 15th anniversary of the Migrant Workers' Centre (MWC). Beyond financial support, our dedication was put into action during the COVID-19 pandemic, where we provided extensive logistical support to those in dormitories and community care facilities.

In recognition of these selfless efforts, Shalom Movers was honored with the COVID-19 Resilience Certificate, a national award celebrating our team's unwavering commitment to serving on the front lines during the global crisis. We remain deeply grateful for the opportunity to partner with the MWC and will continue to move with purpose to support these essential members of our community.

Reduce. Reuse. Recycle. Re-purpose

Our Green Mission

We will work towards becoming a Zero Waste Nation by reducing consumption, as well as reusing and recycling all materials for re-purpose to give them a second lease of life.

At Shalom, we started the green initiatives from ourselves and now we have added extra arms to provide a holistic moving with recycling services to the public.

Our Purpose

We want to exert positive environmental impact by integrating it into our logistic industry to refine environmental issues that are part of our processes.

Apart from refining through our processes, we would like to contribute towards a sustainable Singapore by offering recycling services.

How We Do

We encourage environmental sustainability by facilitating recycling services. We provide pre packing materials for recyclable collections when you choose to move with us.

We have also partnered and are working with associations and agencies for collections of recyclable materials.

Embracing Used Carton Boxes

We actively encourage the use of high-quality, pre-loved carton boxes for your relocation. By choosing reused cartons, you help us reduce overall material consumption and give durable packaging a "second lease of life".

This initiative is a cornerstone of our commitment to the circular economy; we collect boxes in good condition after your move to be re-purposed for future relocations, ensuring that only materials at the end of their functional life are sent to specialized partners for recycling.
