Before The Move: Our technical team will arrive at your data center with anti-static bubble wrap and custom foam crates. We map the current port connections and label every cable.
The De-racking: We carefully unmount servers, switches, and storage arrays from the racks. We pay special attention to rail kits and hard drives, using specific handling techniques to prevent shock damage. This is a key part of our technical service.
After The Move: At your new server room, we will re-rack your hardware according to your rack elevation diagrams. We can also offer cable management services if you need them. We will then clear away all packing materials. This makes bringing your network back online much faster.
Modern offices in Singapore have setups that are complex. For example, dual-monitor arms, docking stations, and cable management spines often need to be dismantled to be moved safely.
Disconnecting: Our team has the correct tools to disconnect desktop computers and peripherals properly. We bag and tag all keyboards, mice, and cables (HDMI, DisplayPort, etc.) so nothing is lost during the move.
Reconnecting: Once at your new office, we will set up the workstations on the desks you designate. We make sure monitors are mounted and cables are tidy, so your employees can get back to work immediately.
The transport phase is critical for electronics. Our drivers are experienced professionals who know Singapore's smoothest routes. They plan the transport to avoid rough terrain, ensuring your hard drives and motherboards arrive safely.
Sometimes your new server room is not ready immediately. Or perhaps you are liquidating assets. We offer secure storage services. We can move your equipment into our clean, climate-controlled, and dust-free storage facility. Your electronics will be kept safe from humidity and heat until you are ready for them. Then, we will deliver and deploy them for you.
Moving is a great time to upgrade hardware. But what do you do with old servers, monitors, or printers you no longer need? Shalom Movers provides certified disposal services. We can responsibly dispose of your electronic waste (e-waste) and ensure data is destroyed. In fact, Singapore generates massive amounts of e-waste annually; we help you manage this responsibly and legally, providing certificates of destruction where required.

Unlike general office moves, server migrations often require coordination with Data Center security for clearance lists and booking specific service lift slots. Early booking ensures we can secure your preferred downtime window (often weekends or overnight) to minimize business disruption.
Yes, absolutely. Standard bubble wrap generates static electricity which can damage sensitive components like motherboards and hard drives. We utilize industry-grade anti-static bubble wrap and conductive foam to wrap all bare metal hardware and servers. This ensures your equipment is protected from Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) throughout the journey.
We provide basic logistics liability coverage. However, given the high value of IT equipment and the potential cost of data loss, we strongly recommend our All-Risk Cargo Insurance. We can arrange a policy that covers your hardware from the moment we touch it until it is successfully deployed at the new site, giving you total peace of mind.
Yes, we can perform "Live Rack" moves (often called Rack-and-Roll), provided the rack is designed for transport and the floor loading permits it. We use heavy-duty steel plates and hydraulic jacks to move fully loaded racks. However, for safety and weight distribution, we generally recommend de-racking heavy servers and UPS units before transport.
We are prepared for Singapore’s tropical weather. Our fleet consists of fully enclosed box trucks to keep water out. Furthermore, we shrink-wrap all pallets and crates with industrial plastic before they leave your building. We also deploy sheltered walkways or rain covers for the short distance between the loading bay and the truck to ensuring your electronics remain 100% dry.
Yes, this is a core part of our technical services. Our specialized team can handle the physical unmounting (de-racking) of your servers, switches, and routers. We label every cable and rail kit. At the destination, we re-rack the equipment according to your rack elevation diagram, ensuring a plug-and-play experience for your network engineers.
